A Matter of Balance Series

Seniors age 60 and over are invited to Join Stephanie from Hospice of Western Reserve for A Matter of Balance series.
In this health series, participants will learn how to minimize the fear of falling, fall prevention, and exercises to promote balance, flexibility, and mobility.
Classes will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. October 17 through November 14.
Registration is required for this health series.
Participants must be age 60 or older and be able to attend each class during this session, as the material will build upon previous sessions.

Anime Club for Adults

Tuesday, September 26
6:30 p.m.

This new group is open to any adult ages 18 and over interested in anime. Participants will meet other anime fans, discuss and review their favorite series, debate current topics, and watch a film.
No registration is required.

 

Women Pilots in WWII

Wednesday, September 20
6:30pm

We will have a screening of the documentary film Fly Girls, which recounts the story of the Women Airforce Service Pilots in World War II. After the film, Ray Hoffman will share artifacts and realia from historical pilots and moments. No registration is required for this event.

Nourish and Move

Wednesday, September 6
10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Sequoia Wellness will be presenting a nourish and movement class, which provides information about the importance of nutrition as we age, along with functional fitness activities that will improve your flexibility, balance, and daily activities. Registration required.
