Puzzle Exchange

Saturday, July 12

9am-1pm

On the second Saturday of each month join Reed Memorial Library for a Puzzle Exchange. Puzzle enthusiasts can swap, switch and trade puzzles and some board games. No registration is required for this free program, and participants may come and go throughout the length of the exchange.

 

Lego Club

Thursday, July 17

6:30-7:30pm

Kids in grades K-5 can complete a LEGO creation based on a theme. We will supply the LEGOs, and meet on the third Thursday of every month. No registration is required for this free event. 

 

LEGO Mania

Saturday, July 19

10:30-11:30am

Family members of all ages are invited to build and create with LEGOs. We will provide the LEGOs, and participants are welcome to donate LEGOs to the library for future programs. No registration is required for this free event.

 

Teen Anime Club

Saturday, July 19

2-4 p.m.

Teens are invited to watch an anime film with others who love Japanese animation and culture. Anime may be rated PG or PG-13. No registration is required, but participants must be ages 13 and up.

 

Literary Elements Contest

Adults and Young Adults guess the name of the book series from the elements given, such as genre, plot, main charecter, etc. A new series will be posted every week. Weekly winners get Dunkin Donuts gift cards, and a grand prize winner receives a $25 Amazon gift card. Visit the library to participate. Good luck!

 

Light Painting

Wednesday, July 23

6:30-7:30pm

Kids in grades 3-5 can make art using our iPads, an app, and colored lights. Space is limited, and registration is required for this free event.

 

Family Jammie Movie

Wednesday, July 30
6:30 p.m. 

 A blockbuster hit based on the popular building bricks. Wear your pajamas and bring a pillow and blanket. Popcorn and refreshments will be provided. No registration is required for this free event. All ages.

 

Summer Reading Programs

June 9-August 2

 

Fizz Boom Read is the theme for children; Spark a Reaction is the theme for teens; and Literary Elements is the theme for adults. For adults and teens, every item checked out (except movies and music) will earn a ticket to be entered in weekly and grand prize drawings. There will be separate drawings and prizes for adults and teens, and additional programs for children.
