It is my belief that the library is an institution for positive change in a community. For Reed Memorial, this has meant over 100 years of change. The Library and community have seen a great deal in that time.
Through the years we have supported each other. For the library, it has meant support in the form of a beautiful renovation in 2006 and financial support from operating levies in 2011 and 2015. For the community, it has meant a source of free access to books, movies, eMedia and dynamic programming regardless of age or background.
My greatest hope is that you have an opportunity to experience Reed Memorial Library in some way. With all we have to offer, it shouldn’t be hard to find something! Once you find that something, it can have a profound effect on you, our community and the Library.
I look forward to seeing you here.
