Tablets & Smartphones Event

Reed Memorial Library will be holding a special event for patrons to learn about some popular devices on Saturday, January 6. Two separate programs will be presented, allowing participants to gain valuable information about current technology available on the market.

Tablets and Smartphones will be discussed at 1:30 p.m. Participants will learn the basics of using a smartphone or tablet and gain hands-on experience using devices provided by the library or by bringing their own.


Evening Book Discussion

Wednesday, March 14 at 7:00 p.m.
The Astronaut Wives Club by Lily Koppel.
Learn the true story of the astronaut’s wives of America’s Mercury Seven while they rose to fame as American icons. Together, the women formed the Astronaut Wives Club, providing support, friendship, and strength during times of happiness and tragedy.

DIY Bath Bombs and Sugar Scrubs

Adults are invited to Reed Memorial Library on Tuesday, December 12 at 6:30 p.m. for a class on how to make your own bath bombs and sugar scrubs.
Participants will create their own sample products that may be used for holiday gifts, or to pamper themselves during the winter months.
Registration is required and space is limited.


Easy Holiday Cards Class (Mail Merge)

Reed Memorial Library will present the third and final class in the Easy Holiday Cards series on Tuesday, December 5 at 6:00 p.m.
Participants will learn how to create labels using Mail Merge. Practice documents will be available for those who do not attend the second class in this series. At the conclusion of this course, participants will know to how to create easy holiday cards from start to finish.
Basic mouse and keyboard skills are required.
Registration is required.
