Adult Karaoke Night

Wednesday, July 25
6:30 p.m.

Participants will have the opportunity to perform their favorite songs or karaoke favorites from a playlist. Props and costumes are welcome. Refreshments will be provided. Registration is required.

Music Trivia Night: The Decades

Adults are invited to Reed Memorial Library on Wednesday, June 27 at 6:30 p.m. for an evening of competitive music trivia and fun.

Bring your friends and work as a team or join other participants to test your knowledge, speed, and skill of music trivia throughout the decades. Trivia will include questions about music from the 1960s-1990s. Sample trivia categories include: correct the lyrics, name that tune, iconic fashion idols, and much more.

Registration is required for this event.

Reed's Mid-Day Reads Afternoon Book Discussion

Adults are invited to Reed Memorial Library on Wednesday, June 20 at 1:30 p.m. for an informal discussion of the book “The Murder of Roger Ackroyd” by Agatha Christie.

In this Hercule Poirot mystery, a tangled web is formed in a small English village after a strange murder is discovered. Hercule Poirot works to solve the case that includes a curious spinster, a local doctor, and wide range of suspects that have motives and mysterious relationships.

 

Vinyl Listening Party

Adults invited to bring their favorite records and join Reed Memorial Library for a vinyl listening party on Tuesday, June 19 at 6:30 p.m., and Tuesday, July 17, at 6:30 p.m. Relive your favorite songs, discuss your favorite album artwork, and listen to your favorite LP or 45 RPM on our turntable. Those without a vinyl to bring may also select one from an assorted collected to play.

Portraying the Life of Eleanor Roosevelt

This historical program will depict the life of the former First Lady, portrayed by Ruth Pangrace. Pangrace is a member of Women in History, a non-profit organization dedicated to the education and dramatic re-creation of lives of notable women in U.S. History. This historical portrayal will be open to the public and is a must-see even for any history fan.
