Evening Book Discussion

Adults are invited to Reed Memorial Library on Wednesday, December 13 at 7:00 p.m. for an informal discussion of the book The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion.
This heartwarming story follows the unlikely pair of a geneticist and a barmaid, who learns that despite your best efforts, you do not find love, it finds you.

DIY Bath Bombs and Sugar Scrubs

Adults are invited to Reed Memorial Library on Tuesday, December 12 at 6:30 p.m. for a class on how to make your own bath bombs and sugar scrubs.
Participants will create their own sample products that may be used for holiday gifts, or to pamper themselves during the winter months.
Registration is required and space is limited.


Easy Holiday Cards Class (Mail Merge)

Reed Memorial Library will present the third and final class in the Easy Holiday Cards series on Tuesday, December 5 at 6:00 p.m.
Participants will learn how to create labels using Mail Merge. Practice documents will be available for those who do not attend the second class in this series. At the conclusion of this course, participants will know to how to create easy holiday cards from start to finish.
Basic mouse and keyboard skills are required.
Registration is required.


Preserve Your Family History

Tuesday, November 14

Participants will learn easy and practical tips to preserve family mementos for future generations. This class will include both physical techniques and basic digitization practices. Specific materials discussed will include photographs, letters, magnetic tape, and slides. Registration is required.


Life, Animated Screening

Thursday, October 19
6:30 p.m.

This film is a true coming-of-age story about Owen Suskind as he communicates with the outside world through his love and Disney films. This documentary will trace Owen’s steps into adulthood as he develops his own independence. This film is an adaptation of the 2014 memoir written by Pulitzer Prize-winner journalist, Ron Suskin.
The Autism Society is the nation’s oldest and largest autism organization committed to improving the lives of those affected by autism.
No registration is required for this film screening.
