Computer Basics II

On Thursday, August 10 at 2:00 p.m., our Guiding Ohio Online AmeriCorps member will present a class on the second part of the computer basics series.

This class will provide an expanded introduction into computers and participants will practice using icons, the task manager, and locating pre-installed software or games that comes standard with Microsoft Windows.

Design with Canva

Join us and learn how to use Canva on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 6:30 p.m.

Participants will gain hands-on experience with Canva, a free desktop publishing tool, to create their own flyers, Facebook covers, social media graphics, and more.

Basic mouse and keyboard skills are required.

Dine & Discuss Caregiver Lecture

Join Stephanie Yeaglin from Hospice of Western Reserve on Wednesday, July 19 at 5:00 p.m.

This lecture, titled “Caring for others while caring for yourself”, will touch upon the important concept of compassion fatigue, and how it may affect caregivers. Participants will leave this presentation with an awareness of what to look out for along with tips to help manage stress during stressful times.

A light dinner will be provided.
