Help build a better world at Reed Memorial Library’s Summer Reading Kick-off Party on Monday, June 5 at 6:00 p.m. Families are invited to stop by for crafts, building activities, and to register their child for the summer reading program. No registration is required for this event.
Families are invited to a Mother’s Day celebration on Saturday, May 13 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. To celebrate the holiday, muffins and a special craft will be available for drop-in guests. No registration is required and this event is open to all ages.
Children of all ages are invited to celebrate Japanese Children's Day on Saturday, May 6 at 10:30 a.m.
Participants will learn about the holiday and celebrate with songs, activities, crafts, and games.

Families are invited to drop in and explore science concepts through a number of interactive stations. New stations and activities will be available each week.

Jungle Bob will present a fun, educational, and interactive show that incorporates a variety of animals that children will enjoy. He is a certified animal technician and has been educating and entertaining children about animals for over thirty years. He is also the author of the children’s book Bobtail. No registration is required for this family-friendly program.

Enjoy the silly holiday and create some take-home pranks to fool your family and friends.

Participants will create a one of a kind LED helicopter and have them fly outside the library. Grades 3-8. Registration required.

Make new art from an old book! These recyclable crafts are unique ways to give purpose to discarded books, and are fun decorations.

Families are invited to an interactive craft program. We will supply a number of craft materials. Participants design their own crafts or creations to take home.
