Teen Take-Apart

Friday, April 12 4-5pm
Tear apart old appliances and electronic devices to see how
they work. Maybe you can make something new from the
parts! We are accepting working and nonworking donations
of used electronics (radios, telephones, etc.).

DIY Franken-Toys

Reed Memorial Library will host a DIY Franken-Toy event for teens in grades 6-12 on Friday, October 26 at 4:00 pm. Participants will splice together different toys to make something new and give the old toys a new purpose. Teens are asked to bring broken or unwanted toys from home for this program. Unwanted dolls or action figures may also be dropped off during operating hours.

ACT Test Prep

Reed Memorial Library in partnership with Sylvan Learning will host an ACT Test Prep seminar on Saturday, October 6 from 10:00-12:00 pm.Open to grades 10-12, participants will complete a free ACT practice test to help prepare before the real exam. Learn which areas you need to target for preparation and start a plan toward achieving your goal.

Pizza Fridays for Teens

Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to enjoy pizza, games and activities with their friends at Pizza Friday. Every first Friday of the month at 4:00 pm.

Teens are asked to pick up their Pizza Pass at the Help Desk (main floor of the library) on the day of the event.
No registration is required, event is open to the first 15 participating teens.

DIY Back to School Supplies

Get ready for the upcoming school year with a DIY school supply night for teens in grades 6-12 on Tuesday, August 14 at 6:30 p.m.
Teens can prepare and personalize their school supplies for the upcoming year. Projects available to complete will include duct tape pencil pouches, Perler bead backpack keychains, and more.
Registration is required and space is limited.
