Teen Read-In

Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to stop by Reed Memorial Library on Friday, February 16 at 2:00 p.m. for a read-in event. Participants will get to hang out with their friends, read their favorite books, and enjoy snacks. Bring a pillow or blanket if you wish! No registration is required.

Marvel Monsters Contest for Teens

Feb. 5-Mar. 5

During Winter Reading, Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to test their knowledge of the Marvel Universe. Participants pick up a Marvel Monsters Unleashed quiz in the Teen Room where they have to name the Marvel Monsters. Completed entries may be returned to the Help Desk for a chance to win a Marvel Universe coffee table collector’s book worth $50.


John Green Day

Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to Reed Memorial Library on Friday, January 12 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. for a special John Green Day.
Participants will test their John Green knowledge, share their favorite John Green videos, and create a cool craft.
No registration is required.


DIY Duct Tape Holiday Gifts

Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to Reed Memorial Library on Wednesday, December 6 at 6:30 p.m. to create one of a kind gifts using duct tape.
A variety of projects will be available to create, including duct tape bows and nametags. Design the perfect gift to give to your siblings or friends. All supplies will be provided.
Registration is required and space is limited.

Teen Art Contest

Deadline September 30th
Submit your best fall-themed artwork or photography. Artwork will be judged at the Junior Friends meeting on October 3rd and displayed in the library. Stop and pick up a registration form. Open to grades 6-12.
