Families can challenge themselves to build or create from their imagination using a variety of materials. Materials will vary each month and will include straws, blocks, paper, foam, looms, and more.

Meets the fourth Monday of every month
Those who enjoy knitting, crocheting, and/or needlework, or those that would like to learn are invited to our new club. The library will have some knitting needles, crochet hooks, and yarn to practice with. No registration is required.
Local authors and writers are invited to celebrate National Novel Writing Month (aka NaNoWriMo) during the month of November. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m., the Carlin room will be available for writers to come in and use. Additional resources for writers will also be available to use.

The library will present a three-part series about holiday card making in November and December.
Children in grades 3-8 are invited to the library on Wednesday, November 29 at 6:30 p.m. for an evening of robotics and tech fun.
Participants will have the opportunity to tinker with robotics and design code that tells the robotics what to do.
Registration is required.
Children in preschool through grade 5 are invited to participate in our “Find Elf on the Shelf” contest. Participants may pick up an entry slip at the Children’s Desk and look for our Elf that is hiding on a shelf somewhere in the Children’s Department. If you find him, you earn a prize!
Families are invited to Reed Memorial Library on Saturday, December 2 from 10:00-4:00 p.m. for a holiday make and take craft event.
Drop in any time during the event to enjoy crafts and activities for the entire family.
