Preserve Your Family History

Tuesday, November 14

Participants will learn easy and practical tips to preserve family mementos for future generations. This class will include both physical techniques and basic digitization practices. Specific materials discussed will include photographs, letters, magnetic tape, and slides. Registration is required.

Expand your imagination and knowledge with stories, crafts, and activities. Each session will have a set theme.

Reed's Afternoon Book Discussion

In this classic mystery, Hercule Poirot must sift through a slew of international suspects to determine the guilty party when a murder is committed aboard a train.
With the much-anticipated movie hitting the screens, join us to discuss the original version.

An Evening with D.M. Pulley

Wednesday, Nov. 15
7pm

Award-winning author, D.M. Pulley, will be at the library on Wednesday, November 15 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss her writing process and newest release, The Unclaimed Victim.
During the writing of The Unclaimed Victim, Pulley delved deep into the research about the Cleveland Torso Killer, who was an unidentified serial killer during the 1930s.
Copies of her work will be available for purchase and signing. No registration is required.
D.M. Pulley became an award-winning author after her debut novel, The Dead Key. Pulley lives in Northeast Ohio with her husband, two children, and is currently working on her fourth novel.

 

Escape Room

Families with children in grades 3-8 are invited to try their hands at Reed Memorial Library’s escape room. The escape room will be open on Saturday, November 18 from 9:15-12:00 p.m. and from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
Participants will work together in teams to solve puzzles, decipher codes, and unlock the key to escape the room before time runs out.
Registration is required for this event.

 

Paranormal Research Event

Join local paranormal investigator, Colin Schneider, at the library on Saturday, November 18 at 2:00 p.m.
Schneider will be sharing his latest research about paranormal events in Northeast Ohio. Participants may also bring their questions about paranormal investigations and events.
