We will be closing at 6p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Normal hours will resume on Friday, Nov. 23.
Local authors and writers are invited to celebrate National Novel Writing Month (aka NaNoWriMo) during the month of November. Every Thursday from 12:00 until 3:00 p.m., the Carlin room will be available for writers to come in and use.

Reed Memorial Library will host the Mitten Tree to collect donations of gloves, mittens, hats and scarves for all ages to be donated to Center of Hope, a local nonprofit organization that provides hot meals, food pantry service, warm clothing and other essential services for residents in need. If patrons would like to give a check as a gift they can make it out to “The Center of Hope.”

Reed Memorial Library will collect letters which kids have written to Santa, and then Santa will mail responses to their homes.
Families are invited to Reed Memorial Library on Saturday, August 25, September 22, October 27, November 24, and December 22 from 9:00-4:00 p.m. to participate in building and creating challenges.
This monthly program offers multiple challenges for participants to complete using their imagination and provided materials.

Reed Memorial Library, in partnership with the Portage County Historical Society and Museum, will present a history of Ravenna during WWI on Saturday, November 24 at 2:00 p.m.
