Jill Halligan, from the Ohio State Extension Office in Portage County, will explain about the importance of planting native plants to support pollinators. By understanding the relationship between native plants and our local native pollinators we can attract pollinators to our yards. She will also explore some good plant choices, where to find native plants and who are the pollinators you want to protect.
